Review: Bubba Gump

Its one of my fave resto. Dined here loads of time already but I don’t know why I wasn’t able to blog about it. :( I think I keep on losing the pictures. Hahaha! And now I only have the pictures of that time we dined here with a full stomach. We only got soup and their shrimp basket.

Anyway, I don’t think I need to boast about this resto’s menu since anything with shrimp in it would instantly become my favorite. Let me just share with you first their interiors.

This is a themed resto. So everything here is all about that famous movie Forrest Gump. You’ll see quotes from the movie and some random facts. If you are a fan of Mr. Gump, you’d most probably love this place instantly.

This is their way of calling the waiters. You flip the board to say “Stop Forrest Stop” and a waiter would come to attend to whatever your need is. Then just flip it back to “Run Forrest Run” once they have attended to your needs. Cool huh!

My ex is actually a big Forrest Gump fan so everytime we dine here, she’d get all giddy and read all the quotes and the random facts all over the place. She even got herself a shot glass! Anyway, what I loved most about the place is their excellent customer service. Their waiters are very attentive and very friendly. They’d smile at you and ask if you’re okay. The moment you flip your chart, a waiter would immediately attend to your needs. I am a sucker for anything shrimp so the fact that most of their menu shouts shrimp is a major major winner for me!

Old Fashioned New England Clam Chowder

This is the soup we got. I’m so glad we only got 1 order of this because this is the meatiest clam chowder in the whole wide world. But this is definitely the yummiest. This is my favorite actually.

Shrimper’s Heaven

Then we had Shrimper’s Heaven. I love the fries and the dip and of course the all the shrimps!! But this one has very small serving of everything. Well small compared to the price. I can’t remember how much this is exactly but but it’s around Php700++ or a little over Php800. Oh diba? Compared sa price ang konti nya! Ilang kilong hipon na kaya yon!

Some of my favorite here is the “I’m Stuffed!” Shrimp, Bubba’s Baked Seafood Rice and of course the Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae! Yay! :) Thinking about it is making me super hungry already.
