Review: Can't Help Falling In Love (2017)

On Black Saturday, our little family went to the cinema to catch Can’t Help Falling In Love.

KathNiel’s latest movie didn’t disappoint! You all know that I’m a huge KathNiel fan. Pero walang wala ako sa pagka-faney ng #FabSkye kay DJ! So this is the first Filipino movie na pinanood nya.

Just like the other KathNiel movies that I’ve watched, the fans are crazy!! The reactions of the fans are priceless. Every time may kilig scenes, akala mo talaga magigiba yung sinehan sa tili ng mga tao eh. People are laughing inside the cinema, they all gush at KathNiel’s gorgeousness, etc. And the #FabSkye is one of them! Hay naku! That little girl fangirled like crazy!

So what’s to expect on this latest film? Actually, walang wonderful storyline or award-winning performances. Waley! But this film is a light movie. Feel-good. Nakakatawa. Sometimes, borderline ridiculous but they we’re able to carry it. Gets nyo? Tipong you know for a fact that it won’t happen in real life EVER but you are hooked! And you are laughing. And kikiligin ka pa rin. I like the way the director created the film. This movie aimed to entertain. That’s it! This movie is for the #KathNiel fans who wants to see them tackle more mature roles. And I love that they are doing it sloooowly.

So yes, may kissing scene po! Tapos muntik magiba yung sinehan sa sobrang tili ng mga tao! Kaloka!

Anyway, DJ showed a totally different side of him. He’s very funny in this movie!!! It’s so refreshing to see them doing this kind of film naman after Barcelona. Basta he is different here and I like that. I like that they offer different stuff to their fans. I like feel-good, romcom talaga. Tipong lalabas ka with a smile kasi saktuhan lang.

If you want something light and funny and kilig, go watch this film! If you are a KathNiel faney like me, eh ano pang ginagawa mo bes? Ang haba po ng pila, promise!
