Since I’ve already shown you guys what I wore for New Year, let me show you my look for Christmas Eve. Me, my sister and my dear cousin went to church for the Misa De Gallo. It’s actually some sort of a family tradition. I’ve been attending Misa De Gallo for as long as I can remember and I’m always with my family. This year, my mother opted to hear the mass on the telly at home because we don’t want my dear baby brother to catch a cold. He just had a nasty cough a couple of days back and you know us, when it comes to that little man – we never take risks. His safety and well being is always our top-most priority.
Now on to my look. This gorgeous glittery skirt is actually my current obsession. Well, I’ve been obsessing about it since last month. But, but, but – can you blame me?? They are so so so gorgeous. They’re actually quite old, it just feels new since I had it buried on my closet for years until I re-discover it while I’m cleaning my closet before the holidays. I can’t believe I had hidden for such a long time. Anyway, I’m trying to make up for our lost time and have been wearing this one over and over.
I love the glitters and very light material. Jiucy Couture items are really personal faves of mine. Such classics! This skirt is actually a little lose on me but the belt always do the job. And besides, its always make me happy whenever I wear it and realize that I need belts for them when I used to squeeze into it. Ehem ehem! Pumayat po ako! Hahahaha!
Black Top: Gap | Skirt: Juicy Couture | Jelly Sandals: Random (very cheap) | Belt: G. Gozum | Starbucks Planner Pouch used as a clutch | Earrings: Divisoria | Ring: Quiapo | Cuff: gift from a friend | Lippies: Victoria’s Secret
Paired this skirt with my black long sleeved tee to neutralize its glam. Dark long sleeved tops really does wonders to my huge arms. I am hoarding this type of tops from now on! Yay!
And of course, just the right accessories does the trick. Some golds and blacks and whites and stones for a look that is perfect for Misa De Gallo. Oh! And I re-used the pouch that came with my 2012 Starbucks planner. I’m now using it as a clutch. It holds my wallet, my phone and my lippies. Love it so much!
I still have tons of backlogs. My Baler and Ilocos trip is still on its way to my blog. Hahahahaha! I am such an efficient blogger. Not!
xoxo,
Reigne
Alright! No Higantes on this post okay?! Nung dumating kasi ako wala ng mga Higantes, lasing na silang lahat. Hahahaha..
Last Friday was the Higantes Festival of Angono. I was able to watch it 2yrs ago and it was sooooo much fun! :) I’m such loser for missing it this year but I got sick earlier that week and I cannot ask for a VL right after my 3day SL right? I think my boss is gonna kill me. Hahahaha…
And so this is what I wore when I went there minus the red flats. I was sporting my cutie high-cut sneakers which G.p stole from me so I was forced to wear this flats instead.
This is such a simple look but still very fashionable. Agree?! I tried to steer clear from all those clutter that I used to wear and now I’m more on the sophisticated look. I realized I don’t need to excessorize to be noticeable. Just know what to wear and how to wear them.
Oh I love the splash of color here and there brought to you by my accessories of course! My red flats, maroon and gold cuff, red and bronze ring and of course my maroonish/pinkish earrings. And oh! Not to mention my dark pink lips. Yay!
Them shawls are just so perfect. They instantly make any outfit more scene stealer. I am so glad that the Philippines is embracing this trend. Scarves, shawls, sweaters! They are such a fashion staple that we Filipinos tend to stay away because we are from a tropical country. But it really all boils down to finding the right fabric. Take my top as an example. I can wear it on a regular day here in Manila and not get too sweaty because it is made of cotton and is just perfect. I put the shawls on when I am on an establishment with a full blast AC and just hold the shawl when I’m out. Plain and simple.

Happy Fiesta Angono! I hope I can check out the Higantes next year! :)
xoxo,
** Please don’t mind my wrinkled skirt. I took my outfit shot inside the office after work. And apparently, my skirt is not wrinkle-proof. Hahaha..
There is nothing constant in this world except change. That line is so true and applies to every aspect of life including fashion.
Take me as an example. I used to wear bold striking outfits. I excessorize like there’s no tomorrow. I pile up on things. I do the most silliest and wildest outfit combination. I even wore red pants on my defense way back in college. And has my red printed sheer top to match! Oh ha! Until now my bestfriend can’t get over that look. Swear! Favorite nya yun eh. Hindi kinaya ng powers nya ang mala-Amor Powers kong look sa defense namin. Hahahaha…
But now, I find myself attracted on simple outfits. If a top is too loud, I make sure I wear simple pants or skirt. I go minimalist! My friend Cor (and also my photog) loved my new look. I didn’t really noticed it at first. It was actually her who told me that. I guess, I am more confident now. I think I know how to dress up and know that I look good even with simple outfits. I don’t need to be bold and striking to get noticed. Or maybe I don’t really care if I get noticed at all. Maybe it comes with age and maturity. But whatever. I love my new peg. :)
This outfit is another proof that I have already tamed. No more Laureen Uy look for me. Hahahaha.. By the way, I am not saying that wild outfits are not good. I mean, I believe that if you can carry it with so much confidence, you’ll look gorgeous. Even if you pile up on accessories and paired zebra pants with flower prints. Believe me. You may say it sounds OA but some people can make it work. The joys of fashion and the endless possibilities. Yay!
Alright, on to my outfit now. (Daldal much) I paired my black longsleeved tee with my gray skirt and add a burst of color blue by wearing a thin blue belt and blue drop earrings. The outfit is super simple yet very striking. My skirt actually is like metallic gray so it is already a statement all on its own. I also loved the fact that the longsleeved tee made me look thinner. Yay!
What do you guys think of my look?
** No make up! And please don’t mind my goofy face. Hahaha.. I don’t know why I’m fooling around in this photos.
