This gorgeous bag became my fashion inspiration one Monday morning. :) The bag has an overload of skulls which I so so love. If you’ve been an avid reader of this blog, you’d probably noticed that I love skull-designed pieces. Whether on accessories or scarves or bags or sometimes, the prints on my clothes. The love for skulls is actually G.p’s. It must have rubbed off on me because I am having some skulls overload lately.
I so love this particular look of mine. I loved how girly my look is because of the peplum dress and laces and those pearls (via my arm party) but at the same time I feel such a rockstar because of the overload of skull pieces I have on me. Look at my earrings, those cool rings, my ever so cutie scarf that I use as bag décor and of course my ever so cutie bag!! :)
I love that the only pop of color on my outfit is my bag while the rest is on the gray monochrome. Sometimes it all boils down to subtlety. I love that I am not so much into clashing of colors anymore. But I still look forward into those days when I am as colorful as a beautiful parrot. :)
Ooohhh! Look at those skull silhouettes via my earrings!! :) Hahahahaha! Yay!

We all know that the “queen” of all skull designs is the one and only Alexander McQueen. I love this designer’s edgy and classy pieces. His death had been a major ouch on the fashion world but his legacy remains. I so love him for making skulls a very artsy fashion piece. :)

Here’s another office outfit post. I know I tend to wear pieces at work that would barely pass on our dress code but I’m telling you, I was never given even a warning. And for that, let me share my secret.
-
Skirt length is soo much important. An inch above the knee is acceptable and is not considered a mini. If you’re a petite girl like me, you could pass wearing 2 inches above the knee. If your skirt almost touch 2/3 of you leg length, then you could reconsider your options. Micro mini’s are a no-no! But semi-mini skirt is a yes.
-
If your dress has low neckline, wear a tube underneath. Pull a Sarah Geronimo. :) It won’t hurt anyway.
-
Do not wear body-hugging dress. Save them for party. But if you really wanna wear some body hugging dress you might consider throwing on a long cardigan. They can also be very helpful in hiding unwanted bulges.
-
On wearing cut-outs – make sure that the cut-outs are all “safe”. Cut outs on the arms may pass but cut-outs on the side seems not so cute and proper unless you throw on some cardigans again to hide it. But what good is wearing cut-outs if you can’t show them off?!
-
Sheers are very much in season lately so we fashyown girls want to wear our cute sheers at work and we can. Just make sure you wear a spaghetti strap or tube top underneath. If you have a printed sheer that doesn’t really show much of your skin underneath, you can drop the undergarments but make sure to wear loads of necklace to hide your chest. You don’t want your boss or officemate having a peek at your cleavage right? And again, throw on some jackets or cardigans.
-
If you love bright colors like me, just make sure you wear them one at a time. Do not go to work looking like a neon sign. And make sure you tone them down by partnering it with some basic colors like black or brown or nude or white.
-
If you’re the type who excessorize, make sure that they don’t disrupt your work. It’s so hard to type with a gazillion bracelet on. But if you can, don’t wear those accessories that cling clang all the time. Puhhleeaaasseee! Some people are working.

Leggings are not allowed at the office. But ssshhhh.. I wear them all the time! :) I just wear leggings that are thick enough to pass as jeggings or jeans or skinny pants. Most of my leggings looked like skinnies anyway.
So there you have it. I hope I was able to give you a couple of ideas on how to make your outfit more office appropriate. It’s Sunday and its work time again tomorrow. Arrrggghhh.. I hope the weekends never end. Harhar…

Here’s what I wore on my IPL session last Saturday.
I swear I didn’t think it’d be this cute! As much as I would like to tell you guys I’m Fashyown that way, it’s actually just a product of accidence. I just wanted a sleeveless outfit with cardigan so I could easily take off my cardigan during IPL session to avoid the hassle of me taking off my shirt. And then I saw this oversized boyfriend shirt (overused actually) that I wore here and it matched my sleeveless dress!
I’m such a huge fan of Print-on-Prints and I love playing on them. I’m so happy I did a great job here. (At talagang I claimed na I did a great job diba?) Anyway, I add the belt to make my dress more girly. And to top it all off, I used my Banig Mini Shoulder Bag that I got from my Cebu Tour. The bag is sort of checkered but it’s also blue (which by the way is my fave color lately, blame the gorgeous nail polish!). I honestly thought of using my solid blue handbag but I guess adding another print won’t hurt. And I honestly love that it looked great.
Of course, I wore my now-favorite sandals (Christmas gift from Mila)! It’s comfy and Fashyown. Simple. I guess you could never really go wrong on strappy sandals.
I also lie-low on my accessories. Lately, I’ve been doing that. Turning minimalistic when it comes to accessories. I don’t know. I guess I just wanted people to focus more on my outfit or the overall peg. So there!

Hope you all liked my peg! :-) Btw, I would like to thank G.p for this awesome pics! I looked gorgeous in each and everyone of them.
