Blame Stanley Chny for the blog title. He just made me listen to the song the whole afternoon. And don’t ask me why I did. I really have the lowest EQ of them all. Yay!
And I am not in the mood to think of a decent blog title because I just reset my phone. And phone reset feels like life reset in this day and age. Though re-installing my applications are easy breezy, my files are all lost. Well, some! And I still feel so stupid for not doing backups. Eh kasi naman! That recent Twitter for Android update just made my phone heat up. Panic mode ako kaya ayun! Reset agad!
Anyway, makaka-move on din ako. Wait lang!
Now enough of my drama and on to my outfit. The top I’m wearing here is actually just a simple summer top. Kinda old already. I packed it for Subic and was not able to wear it so I gave it a spin. Read: tinatamad-mag-halungkat-sa-closet-kaya-yung-nasa-travel-bag-nalang-ang-isinuot.
Since my top is very casual and screams SUMMER, I paired it with a mustard skirt and some white blazers to keep the summery feel of my look while still keeping it clean and business-like.
And yes! Wore this ensemble with 2 different footwear. A sandal for a more relaxed look and my wedges for a more professional feel.
Usually, I’d wear flats on my way to and from work. Commuting is no fun, imagine when you do it in heels. My feet would kill me. So I’d just bring my heels so I can wear them at the comfort of our office. I just feel more confident in heels. And I seem to function better when I feel good about myself.

So excited for the weekend! I’ll have another long one. And I plan to sleep some more! Yey!
And oh! Sissy did my hair here. :) In fairness marunong na sya gumamit ng curling iron!

This dress has that “Sarah, ang Munting Prinsesa” peg. Haha! Wore this one a couple of weeks back (before all the flood in Metro). It was raining hard so a good long sleeves I think is perfect. And since I feel so much like a princess wearing this dress, I tried this cute hairstyle that I got from a fellow blogger Marie. She’s just so cute and very nice. Go visit her blog! And if ever you’re reading this Marie, I really liked the hairstyle. It suits me don’t you think? Very feminine. My version looked a bit different from hers though. Must be because I did this kinda early and I’m still sleepy. Harhar! And I did this all by myself.
How do you guys find my look? :) Have a happy weekend!
Another waaay overdue post. But well, better late than never right?!
Remember that Saturday when I attended a friend’s wedding (dressed in Purple) in the morning and then left off early for our teambuilding in the afternoon?! Well, here’s what I wore during our teambuilding activities.
Orange Puff Cargo Romper: Juicy Couture | Wedges: Primadonna | Purple Earrings: from Len | Star Ring: stolen from G.p | Round Ring: Random from Quiapo
The afternoon was spent at the Virlanie Foundation where we played with the kids. And then we headed to Centerstage for our videoke-poker-bingo session. I had an extremely full day and thank heavens I’m on my very comfy wedges. Love them to bits. I still can’t believe my feet didn’t give up on me. Harhar!
My orange Puff Cargo Romper is just so pretty and I know I have to wear it!! It’s a fashion statement all on its own. The fabric has its twalya-like texture. Promise! Feeling ko mascot ako. Hahahaha..
I kept my accessories to a minimum just so avoid really looking like a walking mascot. I love that my wedges matches my romper so well and also my nail polish. I stick on the colors found on my wedges so as to avoid looking cluttered.
What do you think of my look?!
Another friend got married last Saturday. And no! I’m not a bridesmaid nor part of the entourage. I’d have completed my 27Dresses if I am. Harhar! I guess I don’t want that. My closet is crying already. *No Space!*
Anyway, it was a happy day for a dear friend so I made sure I go. Even if that means an entirely hectic Saturday for me. Thank heavens Desi chose to get married at 10AM. I was able to leave at 2PM (right after lunch and the start of the wedding reception) and went straight to a foundation where me and my team decided to spend some time with the kids. Giving back and sharing all our blessings is truly something I am sooo proud of my team. Remember our
Give a Book project? This is another round of those Random Act of Kindness we do once in a while. (More of that on another post.) Then a Videoke sesh is scheduled next and then another videoke with HS friends. I know! I’m so busy!
With those things in mind, I made sure that I plan my outfit well. I won’t have the luxury of time. I was thinking of pulling up those from day to night outfits that most fashion bloggers are so fond of doing but my events are totally opposite. I need to look glam for the wedding and extremely comfy while playing and drawing and having fun with the kids right? If only I’d be going straight to the videoke that’ll be loads easier. Oh fashion! I love you but you sometimes make my life difficult. Hahahaha…
I’ve been saving this purple and cream sheer dress for the wedding. I know it’s perfect. I mean – purple, sheer, lace, dress!! How can I possibly go wrong?? I just wore my tutu black skirt for that fluffy effect and I’m all set. The only question is the shoes. I would have loved to wear my stilettos with this dress for a more glam up feel but I needed to wear something that would also match my next outfit (which I’ll be showing on my next blog) plus I need to wear something comfy because I know I’ll be wearing them the entire day! And so that means --- WEDGES!
I’m so glad my Primadonna wedges match both my outfits. I never thought they’d look good together. The tribal prints on the wedges made me think it won’t match my dress as well as the oranges on the print but I guess, a little more color and a little more print is a little more fun. I just kept my accessories on a minimum and stick with the colors on my palette. My black beaded clutch finished my entire look. Simple and sophisticated. So much like a princess. :)
Sorry for my “arte” pose. Most of those are “stolen” shots by G.p! We squeeze in a quick outfit shot right outside the church before we go to the reception. Hahaha.. The blogger in me. Thanks G.p for being so supportive. Yey!
